"I was introduced to the art of photography while in a black and white photography and darkroom class at Pratt Institute around 1972. Over the last 35 years I’ve been an ardent devotee of fine art photography. In today’s world, digital photography makes it possible for me to shoot at will while recomposing and playing with different angles. Looking back to my early work, I see a consistent penchant for strong geometry in my compositions. Just as a few words manage to tell a simple lyrical story in a haiku, a few carefully considered shapes tend to tell simple stories throughout my body of work."
